Experimental Intermediate Energy Nuclear Physics

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of South
Carolina invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow with the
experimental intermediate energy group. The research of our group
involves the study of nuclei and nucleons with electromagnetic probes.
Among other efforts, we are leading programs in baryon spectroscopy
and the study of in-medium modifications of hadrons at the Thomas
Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (JLab).
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in experimental nuclear or particle
physics. Experience with JLab data analysis and detector hardware is a
plus. The successful candidate will strengthen our research efforts
in Hall A, Hall B, and the 12 GeV upgrade at JLab, as well as possible
new engangements at J-PARC.
