The George Washington University Data Analysis Center has a possible postdoctoral position in phenomenological nuclear physics, starting in Spring 2008. We would like to find a recent Ph.D. in physics with research experience in computational methods, applied to photon and/or hadron induced reactions. This experience may be centered in either theoretical or experimental nuclear physics, although our preference is for a theorist. The person we are looking for would complement and enhance the existing research efforts of the GW Data Analysis Center, which actively pursues the phenomenological modeling of photon- and meson-induced reactions.
If interested please forward a current CV and a statement of research experience and interests to briscoe@gwu.edu via e-mail.
